Really?!? Harmony-central! LOL

Those types of reviews are utterly worthless.

I played a music festival in Southern California some years ago and met Joe Jewell. We got to do a green room jam. He is a first rate player, make no mistake about it.

Satin doll? now you sound like someone who was just banned... just sayin' :-)
Anyway, you win. Everyone else can read for themselves.

Hated and dreaded by whom, exactly, other than yourself?

I'd rather ask myself "what's not to like"?

Where in the World did you get the idea I didn't like the "snake head"? My comments on the "Snake Head" were not meant to reflect my opinion of it but others who have an irrational dislike for it. Heritage takes a rap for similar shaped heads too.

Then again I have no problem with a volute at all, we are in the minority I think on both counts. :-)Last edited by GNAPPI; 04-12-2017 at 02:16 AM.

Wow! Boy, did I miss the target!

Seems that no everybody has the guts to, when confronted, stand out in a public place and motivate their position on the issue, or standing corrected when proven wrong, for that matter.
As the chinese intend it: we indeed ARE living in "interesting times"...

Way back there was a picture thread on some of THE most B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L volutes done by craftsmen, if you missed it, check it out :-)
Why the dislike for volutes?

Not only I didn't miss it, I contributed to it by posting the volute of a Mayones Maestro, a made-in Poland high-end guitar and bass brand, where their new-generation guitars nowadays are quite popular with high-visibility shredders from Northen Europe, but seems to be becoming popular in the States as well.
