Hi. Nice Hofner, big daddy. My parents bought me a Hofner Senator for my
21 birthday in1958,sadly its long gone, bought a thin bodied blonde senator in the 70's-sold it to a blind kid for £10 I thought it would give
him a life and put him on the right track, then I introduce him to a friend
who taught guitar, good deed done-felt good-everybody happy, then a few months later I bumped into my friend and ask how the lessons were
going, and he said they weren't,I ask him why, he said he invited the blind
kid back to his home for private lessons, then he came home one day
from his day job and found his wife gone and a note saying that she
had fallen in love with the kid, and was intending to spend the rest of
her life with him [along with the Hofner] I was blamed of course and
haven't seen him since. Sorry about that. Back to the thread.
My main solidbody is a Les Paul strung light with a divided pick-up
for synth work, my hollowbody is a Alden which I bought on Ebay new for
£199, a blonde none-cutaway with a neck that joins the body at the 17th fret [dont need a cutaway] I play it through the amp at just above the
acoustic volume, great sound. I also have a PRS. custom 22, in near mint
condition, I've hardley played it,wrong neck shape, pitty really,it's the best sounding guitar I've ever played.I'm going to sell it or swop it for
another Les Paul or jazz box of similar value. It comes in a custom case,
it should have a whammy bar, mislaid it through lack of use, should'nt
be hard to replace. Anybody interested here'my e.mail address-

G n' J is 35-40 minutes from Penn to Summit Station. You should also go to Golden Age (at the Westfield stop) if you are in NJ. No train runs between them, so plan accordingly (found that out the hard way).
