I assume all the GVT5 owners above are using stock speaker + tubes? If it ain't broke, right?

One of the 6V6 valves popped so I got a EHX replacement.

I just have the head, so there is no stock cab to use. I built two 1x10 cabs, one with a Jensen C10Q reissue and the other with a weber Alnico 10A100. I like the Weber better for jazz and for home, because it slower efficiency.

I have the stock preamp tube and a NOS Sylvania 6v6 in mine

I'm using the Laney Lionheart L5-Studio, 5W switchable to 0.5W.

The best i've ever had, and i had lot's: Fender Twin, Vox ac10 - 15 - Night Train15C1 (real nice, but to loud for bedroom volume), DV Mark Jazz 12, ...

But the L5 beats them all, even at 0.5W volume the sound is great for jazz, blues, rock (not metal).

Next i'll try is the Laney BCC Lionheart Loudpedal Tom Quale.
