Dear all,
Thanks for your enthousiastic meeting with the new Slaman. I will try to prepare another video just to put her acoustic sound under the lights. She really shines at comping in the 4 to the bar ole style.
Cheers.

This guitar is a true artwork. It was dedicated by Daniël to Italian pianist and singer Paolo Conte. Daniël named the guitar after his famous songs "Jazz Verde Milonga". It has incredible inlays: the shape of Italy on tailpiece, a piano on headstock and piano keys on fretboard.
In terms of playability, it's a 16" wide archtop, very comfortable in hands. Soundwise, it is equiped with an handwired Kent Armstrong PU.
Here I have mixed the amplified and acoustic sound.
Thanks Daniël for this incredible guitar!

Wonderful playing! Fabulous tone and a beautiful guitar.
Thanks for sharing.

I've never been a fan of green guitars, but I can certainly appreciate the artistry and talent that went into the construction of that. While it's not my cup of tea, it is a work of art, with some amazing detail.
Congratulations on it, and long may you play it.
Cheers

What is the bridge saddle made of? Micarta?
-
yeah bridge saddle is what caught my eye as well...with the piano inspiration it could be ivory!!...or at least bone!
enjoy
cheers

Gorgeous! And it sounds as pretty as it looks. Congratulations, and play it in good health!

Wow.. Beautiful in everyway, love the F designs. Is it a one piece metal bridge? Like a compensated ebony bridge but made of brass?.
Congrats.

That is gorgeous Fred.
The playing is very pretty just like the guitar. It looks larger than 16”.
In any case, Daniel is an extraordinary luthier. You guys are very lucky to have him across the pond.

Lovely guitar design and lovely sound. Thank you for sharing. I hope we see more of your green guitar.

While i can't really appreciate the green color i greatly enjoy the sound of the guitar and of course your playing. Congratulations!
Question: was the piano part prerecorded? It sounds real ... not something like BIAB or ... ?
-
Fred,
You have been blessed with great talent and great guitars.
Heavenly rendition Sir. Beautiful tone too. Love your videos.
Always a highlight around here. Thank you....V

It sounds great, and for me, the greenburst color looks fantastic - it doesn't have that "barfburst" look that greenburst Les Pauls have, due to the center color being natural finish, rather than some weird yellow shade.

Dear jazz guitar afficionados,
Thanks for being so supportive in you comments. It encourages me to make other videos.

Ah, mammoth ivory. Even more expensive, and harder to work. But the tone is wonderful.
