This was the greatest material possession I ever had.
i am proud to have owned her for the time I did.
i have not been up in my guitar room since she's been gone.
I would stare at it for hours. it was the highlight of my day, many times.

Thanks a million David. That's as close as I'll ever get - to both the store and the instruments.

I tried and tried to talk you out of this bro. I am glad to be the buyer. Now you have a lifetime right of first refusal. On both guitars.

My DA's are my most important material possessions as well. (The Harleys come next)

I am hoping the Gibson JS sets you right. You deserve it. You are a Prince among men.

Rudy tried to get me to do an even trade; my D'A for a solid body Gibson L-5. He said in that accent of his: "Come on, man; I heard you play, don't you want to play the same guitar Pat Martino played?"
    I said, no way.
Never tell a guitar shop owner that you've got a D'A...

Now there's a guy that has his material possession priorities correct: Guitars first, motorcycles second-although I'm not a Harley fanboy. I do dig V-Twins though, but of the Italian desmo flavor. Ironically, this Italian mistress was originally sold in Marco's turf of Santa Cruz. When she's on song it's Nessun dorma!

ST, I have always admired the Ducatis.....the Ferraris of the motorcycle world.

Guitars, motorcycles and women have been my passions as long as I can remember. I now have 18 guitars (counting the incoming DA), 2 motorcycles and 1 woman. As I am approaching my 59th birthday, I have to say that I would not want it to be the other way around!

Here is my newest motorcycle, a 2016 HD Heritage Softail:
