The Trini Lopez semi-hollow lost any prospect of "bargain" when Dave Grohl adopted it. The ES-335DG is essentially a Trini semi with a blue sparkle finish.

Yes. I had been shopping for a Trini because I thought such a fugly guitar could be had at a bargain price. Grohl put and end to that idea.
