Couple ideas.
Here's a link to a piece on the G2655. This is the "new" Streamliner series. Extremely light. They also make a G2622, more ES335 sized, and a regular jazz box (2620?). I just ordered a 2622. Blown away by the playability. They have finer frets, not medium jumbo, contrary to the online specs. Neck is slimline-ish, generous 1-11/16" nut. None of these Streamliners will have near the sustain of a 335, even if you get one with a Bigsby. But you get some idea of what can be done with the instrument at the link below. (I think this fellow's been practicing . . . .): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0Rlyx9mTzs
[If the link is missing, search: " Airegin(S.Rollins) solo jazz guitar " on youtube.]
Another idea is to seriously torque your Blues Deluxe settings. That's a very LOUD amp. Start with a flat EQ. That should be Bass and Treble at zero and Mid full on. You'll have to set vol higher than normal at this point, of course. Now adjust bass and treble incrementally.
Just a couple of suggestions.

P.S. Just noticed that this same fellow also does a couple of pieces on a Godin.
