    My experience with Rotos was the same. But since then, I discovered Rotosound Pure Nickels, which are warmer still; they have become my strings of choice.

    Ernie Ball do a pure nickel set- “Classic Rock’n’Roll”. As light as .008s. No wound G, though.

    Both of my guitar techs had issues with DRs tuning and intonation. I wonder about the wraps and the round core.
