I was always told that if even after research you don't feel right with the purchase, let it go. The H575 is not that rare of a guitar and you can probably find one that's as good or better.

I don't think there have been any problems. I didn't notice any unevenness in volume across the strings. It may need a professional install, esp. depending on the endpin...

On my "Jazz Tele" I now use the Pyramid Fusion Flats ( 011 - 048 )and I like them much better than the halfrounds.

I think Artec are very cheap pickups. Used on the lower numbered ibanez models. Could come across a good one, but no guarantee.
