Has anybody something to say about headstock shape ? Not me !
    The Heritage Sweet 16-dsc_0049-jpg
Drove 2 hours yesterday in a nice play where I have lived 15 years ago to meet the seller of this beauty.
Very nice moment sharing views on archtops, cars and everything..
I ended up with a stunning guitar :
Heritage Sweet 16, almond sunburst, custom made in 1995, all solid woods (spruce top, maple sides and back, 5 piece neck) ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge and base, maple pickguard, floater...

Sound is on the bright side, but I already got accustomed to it
Plenty loud acoustically (for an archtop ...! )
Perfectly set up with TI flats 12
Spent 1 hour yesterday and 2 hours today with her, and I'm in LOVE !
I didn't even plugged it in at home, we'll see that wednesday night with friends !
It has got dings here and there, but nothing important, and it seems that this guitar has an history :

    Can't be happier !
Thanks again to Marc for this nice transaction.

NICE! Now make a pot of coffee and play it till you wear the frets and finish off, that's what it was made for.

Sorry, I'll have a belgian beer instead (but one will not be enough to fuse down the frets !)
Coffee is expresso, earlier in the day !

Congratulations, what a beautiful looking instrument. I bet the fun will really begin when you plug it into an amp.

Was the seller the guy named on the label ?.

Since acquiring my beautiful H 575 Custom, I have become a huge Heritage fan.

Congratulations on your gorgeous new instrument. I wish you many years of joyous music making.

Wow, gorgeous guitar. And they ran out of label space for all the signatures! You don't see many signed by Rendall Wall. I talked to him once on the phone. He couldn't be a nicer man.
i love the guitar. The color is amazing.
    Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful guitar, congrats! I'm a little jealous, too as I wish the good folks at Heritage would have written all that on the label of my Custom made Millennium. Oh well. Great guitars they are! Enjoy!

You are going to have to change your name to "Sweet 16 in May."

But really, that's one eye-catching guitar you've there.

    Congratulations!!

    Yup, more evidence that Gibson
left most of the painters that knew how to do a burst up north :-)

I've said it before, I'll say it again...Heritage is easily in the worldwide top 5 burst-sprayers list.

Gorgeous...I think more and more a Sweetie is my dream guitar.

Congrats. Nice burst. The Sweet Sixteen could almost pass off for an L-4C archtop. On a Sweet 16, the headstock looks right in proportion. My favourite Heritage. I wanted one in the very early 90s but couldn't afford it.

    Play it in good health.

Great score on a real stunner. Gorgeous ! Looks very minty. A rare bird here in the west.
The label by itself is very impressive. May you become the best of friends playing music together.

Thanks a lot for the kind words.

The guy I bought the guitar from is not the original owner. He bought it from a US store 7 or 8 years ago (he told me)

    Nice back on yours, Bluedawg.
And again, thanks a lot for sharing your experience on that guitar (in the other thread)
