    is 70watts into 2x4" speakers 8.8 lbs

    thats my kinda weight !

    i wonder if it could work out for small gigs ....

    If that's your ideal, then ZT Lunchbox Acoustic (12 lbs) is another potentially useful one for you. It was realistically rated at 100-130W rms and has one 6.5" speaker (I am not sure if it is a neo, was not specified). If there is a larger cab where you go, it will function as a head with tone improvement. In terms of dispersion/directionality, Phil Jones will be better IMO. But the ZT is a lot cheaper.
