Rig-building, decisions, and 8" vs 10" cabs?

So to recap, what are my best bets for a reasonably priced closed back ported 2x8 cab? I'm willing to load and wire the speakers myself.

I Without any comment on the specs you cite, I can tell you from first hand experience that the getting a similar volume level from the 8" cabs has consistently required pushing the amp much harder than the 10. Just my experience .
