Just ordered a set of the La Bella 413P, polished brass, strings to try on the MK - Rick Turner N6 guitar.
I brought that guitar to an open mic on Friday night. I did notice the wound strings had a tendency to sustain forever, with the length of sustain being very different than the nylon strings. I am wondering if the polished brass will behave any different in that regard.
I do find with that guitar, find I want to roll of the bottom end quite bit, with EQ external to the guitar.

I have no opinion on classical strings but damn, that was just lovely ... from beginning to end.

I finally got a chance to put on Labella 900 strings on my Godin Multiac. The string squeaks are much less and it has a different tone (crispier on the trebles, less lively on the basses) than the D'Addarios. I think I will try the ones with black nylons next time (900B).
