Yes, a Reissue DeArmond 1100 most likely. It would be a shame to cut into that big top. Although, I'd love one of those too. Maybe next time.

I'm planning on having them install a floater with pickguard-mounted controls. If I don't like it, I can easily upgrade to a Benedetto floater on a Benedetto finger rest when I get it.

Mad, heck no! I'm very flattered!

Pics, or it ain't happenin!

that's a beauty 2b.
i might have to go down the same road. love the color scheme.
but I'd love really narrow f-holes.

Thank you Travis!

The shading was a happy accident and didn't occur by design. On the rear Maple it reminds me of the Heritage Wine Burst I've seen on several GE's
edit - check out this wine burst back on this Golden Eagle...the shades not exact, but it's definitely in the neighborhood. This GE has been for sale for a year...and its shade quickly came to mind once I saw Ms G-bo finished

Mine is on order. Mr. Wu seems to object to plastic binding, so they talked me into maple and ebony, which I think will look very nice. I'll start a new thread when I get the first photos.

Make sure the check Jaen Pickups. He has built 3 guitars for me and he is now making pickups. They are reasonable prices and soud good on the recordings. I have personally never tried them.

Actually, I like the f-holes on what you have done better than 'standard' f-holes. I was thinking really, really long and thin. Cello-like. But I really love the color. Super well done.

2b, you and big mike really opened our eyes so we can see what kind of luthier Mr Wu is.
WE appreciate you showing us what it's like to have a guitar built for you.
Thanks 2b.

Thank you Joe! I've never waited 6 months for anything to be built. The time flew by much faster than I would have imagined. The order was placed nearer the end of summer, and now here in Seattle Spring is knocking on the door. It'll be my 2nd new guitar ever, with the first being an Eastman AJ817 arched back jumbo, which turned out to be a total tone cannon.

We all eagerly await the portfolio of pics you will no doubt produce when the new guitar arrives
I suspect that Mr Wu & Ms Lora will also be encouraged to know how well received their instruments
are here on this Forum.
btw tracked down a TRC if I can lift it !! , I understand they are to be discontinued FYI
Best

Well, I guess you won't be needing that superfluous Heritage in the photo. It looks like it's taking up some prime real estate, too. Better send it to me. Or did I miss that bus?!!

Yeah 2b, Marty should get your Heritage.
And Marty will then have to make room, Because space can even get tight in the Grass Manor, He will have to move a Guild over to my house..

Oh I'd imagine the current owner Mr. Greentone would have a thing or two to say about that! That SE was the prettiest archtop I've ever owned, hands down!

So, Greentone has the prettiest Heritage SE 2B's ever owned.
2b has a hot new Asian Chick coming in.
Marty has the most beautiful guitar Joe D has ever seen.
And Joe D has NO new guitar and 2 sick inlaws living with him.
Damn. Not fair.

Yeah, but Joe has a genuine D'Angelico.
