I'm most grateful to the people here who have pointed me towards Music Zoo's Lee Ritenour L5 which has arrived today. Thanks especially to Steve who went to check it out at the sellers shop and gave me a very accurate description of the instrument. It's a beauty and i'm very happy to have bought it!

Very nice guitar, man! I'm envious of you. I was looking on line at the one at Thomann, but they've just put the price up! I'd love to see a demo vid of yours acoustically and plugged in, if you have the time. Enjoy it.

Callooh, Callay. Happy New Gibson L-5 Lee Rit. Guitar Day, Jazznote.
How does it sound played acoustically, and plugged-in?
(I must say that that was fast. Seems like it was yesterday that you asked about it. Let's see its backside!)
-
That's a beauty! Congratulations, and play it in good health!
-
awesome! I really like the concept of the L5-Rit. I'm sure it sounds great - let's hear it!
-
Congrats JazzNote,Love that tobacco burst. I like the concept of the Rit. And it certainly works well for him electrically. It would be sweet to hear one acoustically. Enjoy!
-
It's a stunner. Congratulations.
-
So I hope we'll hear it over on the Stella and Like Somebody threads!

Will need to find some time to restring and set it to my personal preference. It still has the factory round wounds on but sounds good like this already. Being very busy for the next couple of weeks i need to squeeze in some extra time to work on it. Will give some more detailed opinion once this is done. One interesting thing which leaves me somewhat puzzled, the serial no is not printed into the headstock. Only on the orange label. I wonder if this is a new procedure ..... (it dates to Sept. 11th 2014)

That is a great looking guitar! Ill bet its real comfy to play too! Enjoy it in good health. Bob

I played one of these at Rainbow in Tucson a while back and really liked it ...... both acoustically and electrically
Would love to have one, but it really isn't different enough from my Heritage Sweet 16 to make it worth the expense for me
Maybe if I win this weeks Powerball
-
Congratulations on the new guitar!
It seems it was quick to arrive.
-
Any neck dive?
-
Gibson stopped stamping the serial no.'s on the back of their archtops headstock in 2010 from the Nashville custom shop. None of my new Gibson archtops has the serial no. on the headstock which I like. It is ugly.
-
Yes Steve L. is a blessing. He made a trip to TMZ for me also to check out a axe for me. Steve is a great guy.
Congrats on the new Rit L5. A real beaut.
-
Loved the one I tried a few years back!
-
Very nice. Congrats on the new axe. Sweet.
-
Glad you like it ! I tried to give you the most accurate assessment so you had no surprises - only pure joy.
