You might want to look into dropping a JRockett Blue Note pedal between your guitar and amp. Lotsa jazz guys doing it in around here, and we have a lot of jazz guitarists in Rochester, NY. I have one and use it with my Quilter and Lunchbox and it's great. Lets you dial down the high end if you like and push the low mids. Much cheaper than a new amp...

Yeah, thanks, I need something like a pre amp pedal when playing at low volumes through ZT. I was thinking Lovepedal Amp 11, but the Blue Note sounds really good too! One of those I guess, while I'm waiting for a proper amp...

I saw one at Long & McQuade the other day. It looks fantastic! I was just in and out, doing an errand, so I didn't have time to try it, nor did I have the right guitar with me (i.e. a proper archtop ).

Light and compact, (12" speaker, 18W, 21 lbs.), it could be a great practice amp, probably good for small venues. What prevented me from pursuing is the fact that it's got a pair of 12AX7 in the preamp. I wish they'd been more "creative", and not only gone for the 75 year look, but also used something a little more "pre-fender". I am sure many will enjoy it just the way it is though.
