Mine just for the coming two weeks.... Thought Id share some p*rn .....
this guitar is a superlative in everything... I have never seen such elaborate detailing... And it all works together great
plays great too although it was setup with very low action and flatwounds. If it were mine Id do the action twice as high and have sound rounds on it

I dont understand why it rotated those headstock pics and uploading is generally difficult here. Anyways hope you all enjoy the shots. Anyone ever in the opportunity to try and/or buy a Mirabella instrument should not hesitate.

A beauty...Jimmy D influence, no?
-
Cris new Jimmy DA very well , interesting read here : http://www.mirabellaguitars.com/pdf/jjginterview.pdf
Mirabella is the no 1 shop doing repairs and restaurations on Daquisto and Dangelico instruments. Cris also finalized the last Daquisto Solo after Jimmy DA had passed

Absolutely beautiful; the only thing I don't fully understand is how large the soundholes are given the other dimensions... and how the bridge placement on a relatively narrow section of the top produces the best possible tone. But I'm sure if I played it, I'd just shrug my shoulders because it's no doubt a fabulous instrument that would teach me, once again, that I know less than I think I do about stuff...

Striking!

One of my favorite designs ....
What do these things cost?
-
There's not much top left with those F-holes. Can't say I like its look but who's asking me?
-
I dont know, maybe I should add the accoustic volume is very little. It is not a carved accoustic ! It is a laminate electric with top mounted PU. Like a (very) fancy pancy ES175

LOVE it!!! That's awesome -- congrats!!!

I played this oval-hole Centura for a couple of hours at the last Montreal show. Cris put it together from parts from Jimmy's shop, including almost-finished plates that Jimmy had carved for a guitar under construction. It's a great-sounding archtop:

Yeah thats the one. Not a Solo.

Great designl! I'm usually not attracted to the more modern archtop designs but that is a beautiful guitar. The headstock detail is remarkable.

More like grain scoops

Now that's cool.
