A rare Greco L5 in Maple arrives...

One other note about this guitar I've observed. The Maple wood grain on the back is consistent with the pattern seen inside the guitar.

Has anyone seen exterior wood pattern duplicated on the interior of a laminated archtop?

I've noticed that some older laminate archtops have curly maple inside and plain on the outer laminate.

You'd think the more figured veneer would be on the outside of the guitar but it's the opposite.

Welcome. It had worn fretboard grooves in lower 3 positions. And mildew. It did sell in the states on eBay a few months back. Definitely not worth $2k Euro....the guitar wasn't worth $1500 US in my book. Good luck.

Ok thanks, so I better look for an Aria PE180 or Ibanez 2460?
The look was damn good on this Greco.....Ibanez did the same Maple L5 copies in the 70'ies...never saw one over here in Europe.....
