Well I finally got into this thing. What a blast! I think beatboxing is the best way to learn your way around on this. This is a nice device for people like me who are tech challenged. Between this and a cell phone(still don't have one) with some apps I'll be set.
Supposedly you can make a guitar sound like a bass on the RC 300. I haven't tried that yet.
