google search has been fruitless, i.e that fits 2 guitars of 335 size. lots of companies make a double electric gig bag, but none seem to make 335 size one. anyone know of any?? I'm resorting to trying to find a 'generous' sized electric one and hoping they fit

I highly recommend this gigbag, Mono. Expensive, yes, but built like a tank.
My guitar instructor just slipped on ice in the parking lot of the guitar store he teaches at this winter. His 1985 Gibson 335 in his Mono bag flew out of his hands, hit the ground and slid on the ice. He takes really good care of this equipment, but he thought for sure the neck in the Gibson might have broken. Well the guitar was fine, not a scratch and he made a point to thank me for recommending this bag.

i have the mono m80, finding a good 335 bag isn't the issue, its finding a bag that fits 2. a double gigbag

Glenn Cronkhite will make you anything you want and better than anyone else....

Going out on a limb here: http://www.harvest-guitar.com/en/Pol...ther-trim.html .
4" deep.
You could also ask if they would custom make a double 335-style gigbag for you. http://www.harvest-guitar.com/en/Gui...-for-335-Type/
-
nice, i'll send both of those an email and see what they say. i would of thought a company would already make one. guess its not a popular idea.
-
be prepared to pay Glenn, though you'll never buy a better bag and will never need to replace it
he's the former co-founder of Reunion Blues which sadly now makes their bags in China and quality has dipped.
been using his leather bags for many yrs., can't recommend him enough.

Another limb:
Probag might make you one, and they seem fairly reasonable.

Another option would be to get one of the double bags for acoustic and electric. As long as the electric side is as wide as the acoustic side you should be ok. But you might have to add a piece of foam or something in the acoustic side to fill in the depth.

cheers for that, didn't spot the levy's one on my search. thats a possiblity for sure, though it seems a tad pricey, considering where Mono and RB are placed. still, beggars cant be choosers

CrossRock lists a double 335: CRSG205SA 335 Guitar. Google is your friend
-
thats a single 335 bag.

Are you sure carrying two 335s on your back is not too heavy? I have mine in a leather Pro-bag, and with a realbook (or usually my iPad with iReal) and a chord in the pouch, it's a substantial load on my back.....
I don't know of any double 335 gig bags either, sorry, but it seems to me that the above could be the reason for that.
On the other hand, a lot of people declare me nuts for hauling my Twin Reverb to gigs, so maybe two 335s isn't even thát crazy....
-
hahah, to be fair, they're not gibsons, they're Hofners. pretty light. also, i'm not trecking across mountains. just from house to car, car to venue and back. just lookin to make my footprint a bit smaller..

Ah, Probag is back in business again? I heard a lot of people had trouble reaching them, but I see they updated their website, that's a good sign.

Well there are a lot of double electric bags sold, and they must be even heavier. (Les Paul and a Strat, etc)

Gator's acoustic bag may work ... or maybe RBs?

I could be persuaded to part with the aforementioned Probagg double-ES-335 bag in brown leather, as originally ordered by Gareth, for a more attractive price than their USD 855+tax. And, it's in fabulous condition.

Wow, very nice, Hammer! @Blille should grab that!

Reunion blues has a likely candidate, thanks. They tend to be great value so that may be the ticket.

I have a Heritage 535 and a 335-like cheap instrument as backup that should get me through to finish a set until I can fix whatever issue may pop up.
Outside of my budget, even discounted but it is beautiful and in great vindication, no doubt.

This one from Mono perhaps?
Mono Cases Dual Semi Hollow/Electric Guit – Thomann United States
Says for one semi and a normal guitar but at least the outer dimensions would fit a 335-model (regular double bags are too small). The ‘normal’ pocket is not as deep as the 335-pocket but might squeeze one in anyway.

Thanks LJ.

It looks like the only difference between each side is that one is thicker:
Inside dimensions Semi Hollow side: 110.5 x 43.2 x 10.2 cm
Inner dimensions Solidbody side: 110.5 x 43.2 x 3.8 cm

For a double 335 bag i would look to have a custom one made locally, these prices i see on the net are way too expensive because it is such a rare item. Another solution is to get a 335 and a 339. Then the 339 fits in a standard electric bag, and you can use any double electric-acoustic bag.
