Nice to make your akquaintance! You are the first one I know who owns a LGB300 too.
I love the 300, the neck is a bit wide but still fast and smooth as you say. Have it now for a year and really love the decent and balanced sound. Big sound.
Together with a pair of GB10's, an AS153 and a SF301. Got away from all Gibsons etc.. Still own a 65 Melody maker and some other but thats another story :-)
The LGB300 is definitely my guitar for sundays to start the day with!
cheers!

I got rid of a couple of Gibsons recently I'm not a Gibson fan, I still have two an ES175 and an ES339 the 175 will go shortly but I might keep the 339 for my grandson he likes it. I picked up a Korean custom shop Epiphone ES175 recently fitted with classic 57's, I think it actually has better tone and playability than the Gibson and I really like the neck. I thought about getting an L5 but I don't like 25 1/2 scale on a jazz box, I did consider an L4 CES but finally decided on the Ibanez AF200 which will make four Ibanez jazz boxes and the Epiphone 175. I also have a Custom shop Strat a Tele and a custom built Groves looks like a PRS Hollow body.
