Thanks ugarte, I haven't considered going for a TOM bridge, so I'll bear that in mind. On the issue of the mass of a tailpiece, I have always considered that with an amplified guitar the requirement is to keep the string vibrating for as long as possible (sustain). This means that a low density, flimsy, tailpiece is likely to absorb some of the vibrations and act as a slight damper doesn't it? Maybe the difference that a heavier tailpiece would make would not be discernible, in which case I can save some money!

The T145 was replaced by the T146. I'm not certain those are still produced, but they are easily available used. Some people don't like the 1.75" body depth, but I do.

I have a AR371 along with a AR610 and a AR910. The AR371 has a different voice and to my ear anyway captures the ES175 thing quite nicely (enhanced by a DiMarzio 36th Anniversary). The 17 inchers are quite different and quite amazing in different ways, but the Ar371 does things they just can't touch...

Thanks for doing this, Dave.
