I would like to trade it for a Gibson ES-330, 335, 345, or 355.

Wow! This post is 6 years old. I don't expect much! You said the serial numbers were sequential. My NYSD-9's
serialnumber is 001053001 signed H. Shin.
Does this tell you anything?

I have a NYSD-9 with serial number 05032803. At the time, D'Angelico Japan told me that the guitar was made on March 28, 2005.
So serial number 001053001 could be January 30, 2000.

Mine says 89 in 2 places under cover and another number over wooden cavity cover 7066139, all handwritten on back of original wooden mahogany piece…
Anyone have a suggestion?
It's red and in beautiful condition, amazing warm tone and long sustain even acoustic...
