Maybe someone can advise a tutorial for this particular task below, I checked a few but they are not always about what I need.
AI gives some summaries but too many mistakes

Task:
Live looping
Source- one guitar via Scarlett 2i2
2 loops with different FX and settings (so it is not overdubbing in one channel but 2 different channels I assume)
Control: important goal is to be able to cycle loop 1, record loop 2, and at the start of Cycling loop 2 kill and start recording loop 1 again.

As I see it
Stage 1
Setup connections correctly so I could get the guitar sound into 2 different tracks correctly with proper FX etc

Stage 2
Learn midi controller or keyboard a command with one click to start cycling loop 2, kill loop 1, start recording loop 1 all with one button and in one click

I tried yesterday but stuck already at stage one as probably monitoring or routing was not correct

As for Stage 2 I did not deep dive into it yet but seems possible with some plugins
