    Hello,
This Sunday at 10 AM (EST) I’ll be doing a live streaming concert, performing a repertoire for plectrum guitar on my new signature model archtop.
It's something I've never did before, so it is an excellent opportunity to expose myself to public ridicule .

It will be an informal concert, with the chance for anyone who wishes to join the chat and interact live.

    Hope to see you there,
    Fabio

Those Mirabella guitars look and sound great, obviously you can see the Jimmy D'Aquisto influence on Cristian Mirabella.

This is really cool. I shouldn't have missed it. Music live is the best. This is why I try to go to as many as I can. I alway get tickets for good prices on Seatpin.

You’ll find a lot of plectrum guitar related stuff on my website: ArchtopGuitar.net – …jazz…classical…folk…plectrum…fingerstyle…

But there was also another ‘plectrum guitar’ - four strings tuned from bass: CGBD - which developed from the plectrum banjo. That low C was sometimes tuned up to D. It was used quite a lot for jazz.

It is usually played on acoustic archtop guitars. The early repertoire is usually solo (not always) and stems from the 1920s through the 1940s, but is still played today. The repertoire, even from the early days, ranged from arrangements of popular tunes, to jazz and classical. Think Eddie Lang playing Rachmaninov, for instance. The solos tend not to be improvised, but composed and arranged.

    It is tuned in Robert Fripp's "new standard" tuning. C G D A E G, I believe.

Are those two of the exact same model? They look identical. Is one a duplicate backup?

The one on the left measures 16 inches at the lower but. The one on the right, 17 inches.
