    If the FON is the pencilled number 1106 (It could be 9011), I believe that would make it a '34.
    From what I've read, if anything, the FON should date earlier than the ser. no. so this is a bit strange.
    Keep in mind serial number ranges are approximate, 91400 isn't necessarily the exact last instrument made in '33.
    Same w FON's, they can vary greatly w overlaps, duplicate #'s, and are sometimes all over the place.
    Using a combination of serial #'s, FON's and an instruments features gives the closest approximation.
    The previously mentioned Spahn book has updated many serial numbers/dates that Gibson company historian Julius Bellson compiled years ago.
