Early Aria and Epiphone were made in the same factory. Cross pollination is not that unusual.

I just scoured the internet and there were a couple (including this one and an aria - not pro II - SG with none of the inlay work) so I don't think they are usual but general cross pollination is.

I’ve seen a few Aria Epiphones before.
Also some other weird stuff with Greco.
the Japanese stuff sure is fun.
I like all the little surprises.

Current Aria Japan, has some interesting archtops but I’ve never seen or played one. Seems a lot of cross over with D'Aquisto, Vestax type stuff etc..
