I am not sure if I am using the correct technology here--but here goes:
If your playing guitar and want to accompany with bass notes (not the notes on the guitar) can you use your foot to operate the bass notes by using the type of board that organ players use to get the bass notes? Notes an octave below the guitar as in double bass.
Is there such a portable item out there? Anybody tried one? If so send info on what you have tried. Did it work for you?
Many thanks.

Yes, there are several models. Just google bass footpedals.

Many thanks 'Woody Sound' for your reply. Did just that. Found out--to a point--info to what I was looking for. Many different types of pedal board out there doing different things. I am looking for a pedal board that just gives me the simple bass line--mostly the 1st and 3rd notes of the bar--possibly a little more if required. Some are pretty high-tech--the search is on!
If anybody uses a pedal board and is simple to use send me details--make / model etc.
Many thanks.

There was the Moog Taurus pedals in the 70s. Mostly these days they are midi controllers, so you would connect to a synthesizer or keyboard or computer to trigger midi notes. Studiologic makes one, and Roland, not cheap. Surprisingly it seems like Behringer or Donner is not making a cheap one

Also search for keyboard bass pedals. This cheap one sounds pretty cool. Like a bass, rather than a keyboard.
Just a moment...
