Rotosound Strings for Jazz?

I used to use flatwound strings but have recently moved (back) to round wound. I have been using D’Addario NYXL1254 and I am looking to move to Rotosound R12-56 guitar string sets. Has anyone any experience with the Rotosound strings on an Archtop playing jazz?

I do have a set on my Heritage H175 that came with the guitar. I don't really like the feel or the sound. Too bright for jazz and a bit too metallic-sounding.

I use Rotosound Top Tape RS 200 FlatWound on my Strat-great strings.

I just ordered a set to try on an archtop. Many years ago I played them on my solid body and really liked them, funny this thread pops up the day after I ordered the strings, should be here in a day or 2 Ill report my findings. In my case Im looking for bright and loud to see how it works on this guitar.
