Back to the OP--I have an ES-135 that I think would fit the bill. It has the bite and feedback resistance of the 335, but still with the resonance of a fully hollow. Unlike the 335, mine has a balsa wood block, along with Gibson Classic '57 pickups.

Only downside is it's a bit heavy, but not a problem if you play sitting down.

I might be putting mine up for sale in the near future. Will post in the classifieds if I do.
what does it weigh Doctor ?

My thigh-o-meter says about 9 pounds, but I will try to get an accurate reading later today.

Here’s the 135 next to the 175 for comparison. Exact same body shape—I think they used the same molds for top and bottom. Different neck length and pickup placement.

    Something in-between a 175 and a 335...-img_0087-jpg

+1 on the ES330. I just bought a used Memphis ‘62 RI VOS. It’s very versatile and can really capture that Grant Green tone. I am a fan of P90’s.

thanks Doc , I appreciate it
I’d like to get one someday ….

I’m wondering why they are so heavy
with the slimmer depth and the
    balsa wood ….

I have a bandmate who has an ES-135. I have played it. If feels like about 8 pounds to me. Most 335's from that era (early 2000's) weigh about 9 pounds (mine did), so I think the Balsa center block does reduce weight. I will say that the 135 was more 335 sounding than 175 sounding. I do prefer the look of the 135 myself.

Your 135 reminded me of the "Howard Roberts Fusion", which I had forgotten about. I know there's more space at the cutaway, but they're similar.

You've got a pair there that will beat a Full-house any day, DJ!

Do you need 2 pickups, or is 1 neck ok?
