I too think the T50 purchase was a smart move. I was going to comment that I saw a Soho at my LGS a few weeks ago and it was indeed thin, light and comfortable to hold. I don't love a floating mini humbucker myself. I have my ES125T in my lap as I type this so I was going to suggest something like that (which the T50 totally is).

I prefer to adjust the screws on P90s to compensate for the too loud B string etc so don't be afraid to try that when your Guild arrives. I use Thomastik Swing 11s on my 125T.

Good luck with your recovery and let us know how you like that guitar!

Excellent points, to add to your point a bit I had an interesting conversation with Kent Armstrong just the other day regarding pole adjustments. In this case it was the same thing (sort of) I raised the pole of my low E to get more bass and didnt get the result I was hoping for. The Dynasonic on my T50 isnt height adjustable (same as p90?) Kent was insistent that you dont raise the poles. He said to shim the pickup till you get the output you want on that string and lower the others for balance and emphasising not to raise the poles above the cover (much) for balance, in my case he actually sent me cardboard and a note as we were also finishing another transaction. I shimmed the pickup with the pole level with top of case as close as I could get it with reasonable clearance to the strings, lowered the higher strings as instructed and "viola" things much improved. I realize most already know this but I didnt so I thought Id share. I really like my T50 but I think the model the O.P. got might sound "better" with that P 90. Please report how you like it.

There was a Hofner Verithin at the LMS yesterday. Looked liked it might run you into three figures.

Early last year I bought a T50 because my 1966 ES125T was going to be in the shop for a month and I had gigs to play.

The T50 had the closest specs (and look) to the 125 I could find, and since none of the local stores had it I bought it from Sweetwater.

Great guitar! I love it! And it went straight into my DI box/rig with no tone/ volume/EQ adjustments whatsoever--the pickup output seems identical to the 125.

Now I practice mostly on the T50, then rehearse/take the 125 to gigs.

I find the Conti Entrada to be very comfortable at 15” lower bout, and under 2 inches in depth. Fully hollow with one set in humbucker.

Interesting... yeah, I adjust the poles in addition to raising and lowering either side of a set humbucker too.

Shimming is fine to recommend since that's the adjustability a P90 lacks compared to a humbucker. Still, with respect, I'd differ with rather than defer to Kent: just taming the B string alone is reason enough to take a screwdriver to the pole screws and no shimming could back off the B without losing too much high E. In fact the shim suggestion only let's you get closer to the strings so it's not a total solution on its own.

Thanks for sharing those tips from Armstrong. He seems like such a resource. I've only encountered Asian KA pickups in my guitar shopping so I haven't heard his higher quality offerings. I disliked the Asian KA floating mini humbucker on a friend's Eastman and disliked the Asian KA set humbucker on my AR403ce as well (replaced it with a 57).

That's high praise a few posts back that the OP's T50 compares so favorably to an ES125T. What a great value at that Sweetwater price too
