I had one. IMO it's ok for upgrading a cheap amp with a cheap speaker built in. But not for more. I had it for a while in my DIY Princeton before I replaced it.
I would describe the sound as "not bad, but simple".
The speaker is now installed in my nephew's small Marshall MG 20. For that amp it is an upgrade.

Thanks for the answer. I will reconsider. The exchange as well as the build are not urgent. On the other hand the offer for the used pair is a third of the price of new ones. I'll see.

Your rib doesn't seem to be set too high, so go for it. As a general observation, however, the price difference between a so-and-so speaker and a great one is 100€ at best. Not much for an investment with a nearly indefinite lifespan. If you really need just one, look at Jensen's new Silverbird 10", 50W speaker. Munich-based guitarist Paul Brändle tried one (installed into a Toob 10E) at my workshop yesterday and liked it a lot.

Thanks for the Jensen recommendation. I'll keep it in mind for future projects.
