Yet another fantastic book. This is a great 'next step' from Volume 1...
Just gotten into it and already learning. I can tell much work went into organizing the content and presenting it. I have only been playing a little over a year and because this is so well presented and easy to follow, improvement is fast. Thank you!
These books are some of the best i've seen at explaining the subjects covered in a way musicians can understand and implement. I'm a Berklee grad and I use them for teaching. The eBooks make my job easier and I recommend them in my essential list of manuals .
Jazz guitar instruction doesn't get any better. Real world use now licks or in depth go to the woodshed lessons. I have found it all here. Thanks Matt and Dirk.
Yesterday I purchased Introd. to jazz blues guitar vol. 2 and I want to say these things:
What more can I say: you are fantastic! I think all guitarists who want to be really better should study your books. Great!
BIG improvement on first book (never got past lesson 4). Easy to understand lessons and nice progression. Well done!
Excellent array of lessons and concepts!!!!!
Great job!!!!!
Not everything is for intermediate players, but maybe on the longer term...
Thank you so much for these inspiring lessons, you've done a great job of communicating some of jazz's mystery as simple understandable language, please keep up the good work!
I purchased volume 1 & like "Larry" I'll really appreciate a discount on volume 2.
I hope some more recent artists' works could be featured, like Jonathan butler, earl klugh, crusaders, spyrogyra etc thanks
See my comment on Issue 1. I really love chord melody style: more lessons please :)
