Hi all,
I’m looking for a Westville Solar (dual pickup, thin-body version) in natural color, ideally located in Europe.
If anyone happens to know of one for sale or has any leads, I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know.
Cheers,

Hi, I have Westville water for sale (semi solid), located in Poland

Hi!
Thanks for your reply! I saw it in the local ads already. It is a beautiful guitar and I was tempted, but I'm afraid it is too heavy for me (~4kg?). I'm looking for something in the 3kg range or below.
Cheers!

I think you'll find more Westville guitars (and other Japanese Guitar Brands like ATC) on this Japanese Marketplace site than anywhere else -- Westville Guitars

westville's product lineup confuses me, including a pat metheny model with a solid spruce top?!?

You're not wrong: "The top of a Daniel Slaman archtop jazz guitar is always solid, carved wood. No exceptions."
From: https://www.newvintageguitars.com/top.html
But all the Ibanez Pat Metheny models are laminates.

Thanks, that's indeed a nice selection they have! I especially like the one pickup Westel Tele!
But it is still located in Japan, which means 22% tax and customs...
Btw, I contacted Westville guitars directly and they are working on a new single pickup thinline model, due to be released in fall. So unless something becomes available in the EU until then, I'll wait for that and order with them directly.
Cheers!

Don't know if that is correct - I'd have to complete a Zen Market order to find out, I'm considering it. Japanese dealers add a hefty commission when they sell guitars on Reverb or eBay, so the price can be much lower when you buy directly from a Japanese store via Zen Market.

In the EU, 22% tax and customs are definitely added on top of the sales price. Whether that makes the prices at Zen Market less or more expensive than elsewhere is a different question - maybe it is still a good deal compared to what is offered in the EU at the moment.

If you buy directly from a Japanese store you should not pay the local sales tax (10%). Most websites like Walkin show the two prices. To figure out the brutto price add about 30.000 Yen for shipping and your local sales tax (19% in Germany) and the duties fees (3,7% here) to the netto. In many cases it is interesting to buy from Japan. Watch out: because Zen Market is a middle agent the Japanese sales tax must be paid.
