SOLD LOCALLY, THANKS FOLKS! Time to part with my 2012 Gibson Custom VOS '59 ES-330. Calling all Grant Green obsessives.
Excellent shade of sunburst with the slight fade as you move down the body. Mild flame when the light hits it right. Back is nicely figured, too.
Neck is chunky but very comfortable. Think '58 Les Paul reissue: .94" at 1st fret, 1" at 12th.
All stock with zero mods or repairs.
Frets have very little to no visual wear.
Currently strung with 12-52 Pyramid flats.
Sounds terrific. It's spent most of its time doing the Grant Green thing through a '65 Ampeg Reverberocket, but with roundwounds it'll certainly rock if you want it to.
Original case with COA.
Hardware has usual 14 years of VOS tarnish.
Slight buckle rash on back which I tried to capture in last photo.
There's a good chance I end up regretting this, but to be perfectly honest I don't play it enough to justify what is a pretty extravagant guitar.
I am located in the US and would prefer to ship in the lower 48. Asking $5,000 shipped, with offers more than welcome.
Please let me know if you'd like other photos or more info. Thanks!

I never chime in on these things, but these are such great guitars that I can’t resist. Mine quickly became my favorite for gigs — lightweight, exceptionally ergonomic while standing, and with a tone to die for. While I’ve always preferred one-trick ponies over Swiss Army knives, these guitars truly excel in every playing situation. If it weren’t for the perfect fingerboard and fretwork, you’d think you were playing an authentic vintage Gibson. Yours has a gorgeous top. Someone is going to be really happy.
Yea, aint that the truth. And unfortuntaely now this thread is prolly gonna die too if we keep bringing him up, but hopefully USA losing to Belgium in comfortable fashion will calm the things down.
As you probably know, Mint = New, it's very difficult to find any vintage guitar in that condition. Unless you're willing to wait years for one to turn up, Excellent condition is probably the most...
I grew up in a house where there were a lot of family jam sessions in our basement as all my uncles, grandparents, etc were working musicians. So in childhood I heard a ton of GASB and I knew someday...
Hi,
Anyone up for trading some Thomastiks?
I have 3 sets of GR112 round wounds and would like to swap them for GB112 flats.
I accidentally bought these and by the time I realized it, too late...
Just wind chimes. Ice cream trucks are banned in my ward..the rumor is because some kid got hit by one years ago...but there's no record of that ever happening.
Have you seen this one from Canada (worldwide shipping) The Marketplace for Musicians | Reverb.com
Condition looks very good , as good as my own '97 I'd say (a keeper BTW :smile-new:) those are...
[QUOTE=Tom Karol;1474641]OK, a few things:
1) Red tape definitely helps you play faster, but blueish-green makes you more soulful
and yellow is good for power pop.
"..my yellow in this case...
