Time to move on from my banjo playing. Two excellent banjos:
Pisgah Tenor: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/257455805880
Deering Eagle II 5-string with open back: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/257455774225
Any questions, just ask.

Sold!

Gee, that was fast! But how will you get by without Pisgah in your life?!
-
Just ordered a fretless Pisgah. Someone got a great deal on that tenor!
-
They sure did! Have fun with your fretless. Which model did you choose?
Edit: the same buyer bought both banjos i had for sale. And a bunch of my Mel Bay books for 5-string and tenor.

Walnut neck/hoop with skin head and rolled brass tone ring. This one will be setup with nylon strings. I have a Dobson Rambler from them w/ a brass hoop that I like a lot but I wanted something very different from a second banjo.

Walnut is a good choice, and they have a good supply of it.
I bought a gypsy-jazz guitar, not the first I’ve ever had, so it’s more a case of going back to something I enjoyed before.
BTW, here’s the banjo page of my website: Banjo | Rob MacKillop ~ Musician . I did a lot of playing using a variety of banjos. They were just fun to play, but I feel I’ve moved on now. My playing is not what it used to be, and I’m narrowing my focus.

Well done with the sales Rob.

Cheers, Guy.

My journey is somewhat similar in that regard. I used to play clawhammer banjo, which, when done right, is a lovely lilting style. I abandoned banjo and sold my only one decades ago. Fast forward to the present, I've picked up the instrument and tried to play clawhammer and it's just not working. For some reason, it ain't like riding a bicycle. My guitar skills haven't diminished; in fact they continue to improve with age (except in terms of energy/endurance), but banjo, forget about it. So my focus is solely on guitar, but man, I wish I could still do that clawhammer banjo stuff.

Well, at least your guitar skills are improving, and that’s always a good thing. My plan is to focus on the more laid-back Django-Louis Armstrong repertoire, with occasional forays into Charlie Christian territory.

How much did you have to pay the "buyer" to take them? How much will it cost to get him stop playing them?
Sorry, can't pass up a banjo joke opportunity
-
I left my banjo in the back seat of my car.

Thank god you were able to sell them fast, because, if you hadn't, well, you know the rest...

It wasn’t God who bought them…
