I have a 1934 L5 reissue signed by James Hutchins on Oct 6 2005 and released by Gibson with a 2008 serial number.
The guitar has a full neck that reminds me of my 2013 Les Paul Traditional
The sound is quite brash that needs deliberate plectrum selection and right hand approach to smooth it out a little. Build quality is excellent but I think the recurve is very shallow compared to my NY Epiphones.
I bought it online from an Australian dealer about three years ago for about $4400 US.
Typical of 16” guitars it is very comfortable to play and I love the aesthetics including the block pearl inlays.
Does anyone have an idea how many of these custom shop reissues were made before they were discontinued.

A very special NGD: a custom build that brought my ideas to life.
