    I’ve reorganized this ad - now it's V.3 for 2026!

    I have a few extra high-quality plank guitars that I've put together along with guitars I’ve gotten in trades. They are available across a broad price range. I just have more than I want or need, and really want to reclaim some floor space in my studio. Let me know if you want any of them. I'll can send info or post additional pix if you are interested.

    I ship to the US from within the US, to Canada from within Canada, and to anywhere else in the world, for the cost of shipping. Payment via cash, Paypal F&F, IEMT (in Canada). Each guitar comes with a gigbag unless otherwise indicated. I can provide a nicer hardshell case if desired at extra cost.

    I'm almost done with these guitars. I may have enough bits and pieces for one more after this. Years and years of parts now finally being liberated from the confines of their widdle cardboard prison cells.

    Here's the "Stratrod," a work in progress and a lot of fun. I'll probably install a T-armond in the neck position. Maybe a middle strat pickup, to cover the Nashville tele option. Lovely Guitar Mill boatneck with 1.678" nut width, as-new jumbo frets, (Brazilian?) rosewood board, and Sperzel tuners. Maybe I'll put some more shellac on the body as well. Hmmm...

    I have two of these Stratrod alder bodies - same chambered thinline specifications, but only one has an f-hole. I installed the 26 1/2"-scale neck and a tele bridge on the other one. Photos below. I have not made further progress on either of them to date - other guitars are higher up on the list. They can be sold as is or further finished and built up.

    I haven't priced these yet.

    OK, one more.

    Here’s my last lovely plankcaster, particularly attractive to those who favour lightly reliced guitars. I'm finally out of extra necks, bodies, and pickup assemblies!

    The body is a new MJT light relic alder s-s-h body, Candy Apple Red, 3.15 lbs.
    The complete guitar weighs 7.31 pounds.

    The neck is a new Allparts "SRO-W" neck:
    -nut width 1 11/16th”;
    -C-shape;
    -dark rosewood slab fretboard;
    -22 jumbo frets (0.114" x 0.055") in new condition;
    -12" fretboard radius (like a Gibson);
    -bone nut;
    -vintage-style tuners;
    -oil finish;
    -neck depth - 0.85" at first fret;
    -neck depth - 0.96" at twelfth fret.

    "White Brighton Rock" AlNiCo V pickup assembly from GFS, with white plastics, as shown.
    Vintage-width bridge with vintage-style steel saddles, Kluson aluminum block.

    It's one of three strats I have for sale - I'd be happy to swap parts between them and adjust the price as appropriate.

    It comes with a new Fender gigbag. If you prefer a hardshell case, I have some, for a more $$.

    One of my local pals really wanted it, so off it went.
