This is an extraordinary guitar built in the Guild Nashville custom shop under the close supervision of Bob himself. This is not to be confused with Guild Corona Benedetto’s. The Nashville Benedetto builds were the best, and very hard to come by.
I’ve made other posts about Nashville Benedetto’s if you’re interested in learning more about those builds.
The body is 17” x 3” deep. The scale length is 25”. 1st
fret neck thickness is .818 to the board and .931 at 10th fret. Nut width is 1.780
The voice of the guitar is huge with great volume and very resonant. The condition is near mint - except for some slight wear on fingerboard binding. There is some minor fret wear but no buzzing, and neck is straight and set up with low action.
The wood is extraordinary.
Asking price is $8500 plus shipping
International buyers welcome - payment via wire transfer only, and buyer must provide shipping barcode code label.
Domestic USA buyers-payment by check or wire .
I’ve owned 2 hand built Benedetto’s from Bobs golden period at the Stroudsburg PA location- and this guitar is equal in every way.
For those wanting a Benedetto Fratello at an approachable price - don’t hesitate, I don’t expect this to last.
A vid can be provided via WhatsApp or text.

A little more history of the “N “ Serial Nashville builds from one of my 2023 posts:
Everything after Stroudsburg involved license agreements and "less hands on". I would say second to Stroudsburg were the Guild Nashville Builds. Throughout the Nashville period, Bob was hands on, and both Evan Ellis and Mark Piper were building fine Benedettos........ Bob was present frequently. Bob once told the late Stan Jay that "Evan and Mark build the best Benedettos". In fact, they were both asked to start up the Savannah shop and Evan signed on -but Mark started Redentore guitars and still actively building.
Mark Piper - is a fine gentlemen / luthier and he provided most of this info. There was a great continuity of knowledge from Bob’s hands to Mark and Evan at the time- and you can see it/ hear it in the builds.
This is not meant to discredit Corna or Savannah builds - but merely to point out , through observation / experience that these early “N” serial builds , which predate the aforementioned, are really quite special.
Currently , Benedetto guitars is offering a rare “N” serial number prototype build for 35k

Beautiful guitar!
Wish I had the scratch for this (and just maybe that it was an antique burst finish instead lol). Good luck with the sale!

Beautiful, exquisite instrument at a very fair price. I cherish and adore my 1990 Benedetto Cremona with the Stroudsburg label. I play out with it on every gig that it is suitable for. This Fratello could be a workhorse and bring joy to the new owner on every performance. Best Wishes on the sale.

Hello, I am a new member of the jazzguitar forum. I am writing because I am interestedin buying a Benedetto Fratello.
Is the sale of the guitar up to date?
What year of production is the guitar?
Last question, what is your final price for a guitar?
Best regards Artur

As for price , it’s already the lowest price for a Fratello in this condition on the market anywhere.
If you would like to discuss the purchase in further detail , send me a pm and perhaps we can arrive at a mutually acceptable transaction.
Thanks for the interest.

I concur having just sold a Fratello last February. I love how there are friends on this forum that are not looking to overly profit on here but get amazing instruments in the hands of people that will play and enjoy these generally expensive guitars. Thanks to all like you Qaman for not inflating prices and making fine instruments like these accessible.

If I had the money it would be flying to Scotland as I write. Totally surprised it hasn’t sold yet. Good luck with the sale, Q, and we look forward to what others you will be letting go. Best wishes for your retirement.

The Benedetto has sold. It’s headed to a gentlemen in Europe.
The Comins is still available.
My next posting will be for a very special short scale Campellone special made from Euro woods. Mark told me it was one of his best sounding guitars.
Stay tuned
