Currently available is this blonde Special Series 17" from 2008 - it's in like new condition and is one of my best sounding acoustically - very woody and warm with fat single note response. It has a Sitka Spruce top with German flame maple back and sides - the fingerboard scale is 25.5", nut width is 1&11/16" - 3" rim - the pickup is a Kent Armstrong USA floater.

The guitar has a Cedar Creek case - after 17 years in this case, the guitar shows no signs of the now infamous CC stain - however, I've lined the body portion of the case with a sheet to prevent any problems. Asking price is 8K (a new Special with German maple upgrade would be $9500).

Hoping someone on my wait list might want to consider this guitar as my chances of getting to everyone on the list are slim now that I've cut back production.

Wow another stunner! I'm not shocked that it sold so quickly. Has that been a demo guitar at your workshop its entire life? It doesn't look like it's been played much in 17 years.

The guitar was originally built for a customer who evidently took very good care of it

I have noticed that anyone that owns a Campellone takes super good care of it. They are working art. I have never seen a beater Campellone.

I suspect that the cat who would turn a nice guitar into a beater lacks the sophistication and taste of a Campellone owner.
