    Hello,
does anyone want to trade in for another Westville guitar? Mine is great, but the weight is too much for me (4 kg). I'm looking for the model below 4 kg, maybe 3,5 kg. I'm from Italy, Rome. Eventually looking for a trade in Europe.
    Price 3000 euro

There is Neoprene Guitar Strap now being made that helps with heavy guitars. I saw Bassist Verdine White Earth Wind and Fire endorsing them. Can’t remember the brand?

Too bad these are so heavy... I wanted to get one for a while, but when I tried it it was heavier than my Les Paul.
Does anyone know how much the fully hollow Westville Solar thinline models weigh?

You mean a Solar dual pickup thin body? Wow, that's still pretty heavy for a full hollow body!
I guess they are meant to be more 'electric' guitars overall. How was the sound and volume unamplified?

I just had a look at the current prices. The Water is 2450.- Euros new. Including 22% import taxes and customs/ shipping, this would still be around 3000 Euros, so maybe your asking price is too high for a used guitar?

Maybe you were looking at plywood version. Mine is hardwood, plus i sell it with the hardcase. When importing from Japan you have to pay customs duty, vat and shipping.

No, I was looking at the solid top version: Water — Westville Guitars
It is 2449,8 Euros at the moment. Shipping might be 150 (and shipping would be necessary for your guitar as well for most people), a hardcase another 100.
Including 22% vat this is ~3300 Euros.
Since 2019 there are no more customs duties for imports from Japan into the EU.
At that total price, I would personally buy a new instrument rather than saving ~250 on a used one.
