From the first era (1983). Beautiful and immaculate, with the great sound and playability it's known for.
It has no problems with the bending or the pickguard (common problems with these guitars from the first era). No binding rot.
I'm selling it as I'm gradually phasing out some of my gear, although I'm not ruling out removing the listing in a few days!
If shipping is required, european shipping costs are not included in the price (i´ll try to avoid to send it to non comunitary countries to avoid customs). 2150€
.

Maybe it's common knowledge on the forum, but where are you and the guitar located in the EU?

Located in Barcelona

Hola! Not buying, but out of curiosity, given your location and the year of manufacture, any chance that guitar was originally purchased from "Ibermusical" in La Gran Vía?

Hello Peter
I can not confirm you, because i am the second owner (as far i know).
I don't buy it in a shop, i changed it, giving an yamaha sa2000s + money to another catalonian guitarrist.Last edited by oldian; 09-05-2025 at 10:02 AM.

I have a 1981 GB10NT. Boy, I sure like the look of the 'bursts. They don't seem to be as bothered by the binding rot problem as the naturals, but maybe it's just not as visible against the darker finish. Or maybe there is some chemical difference in the finishes that interacts with the binding of the NTs. The binding of mine is caramelizing in a few spots, but as of yet seems to have maintained structural integrity. I removed the original pickguard and had a duplicate made in wood as there was always a faint aroma of camphor when opening the case.
Lovely guitar, GLWTS!

This one seems to be an exception: Just a moment... but I do remember that the natural ones had more issues.
