I bought this from the Music Zoo on Long Island about a year ago. I live near the Zoo and it was too beautiful to pass on. It's a magnificent acoustic archtop guitar. Eastman's top of the line. Excellent conditiion, 2007 vintage.
Complete setup by Larry Fitzgerald (Wantagh, NY) about 6 mos. ago. It's an easy playing, comfortable guitar. Larry was extremely impressed with this guitar. It plays beautifully, and it's lightweight for an archtop. I've decided that I'm more of a flat top player. If you're looking for a hand carved archtop that won't break the bank... this is it. I'm pricing this at $2700 plus shipping but am also open to interesting trades for an 000 size acoustic guitar.
Let me know if you have questions. This is my first post on the jazzguitar forum, but I've been a member of the Acoustic Guitar Forum community for almost 10 years (same handle, steve_arino) since I started playing guitar when I retired. If you'd like, shoot me an email to [email protected].
Thanks....

So many nibbles. But a nibble is not a bite.

To be honest, most of your interested buyers associate what this sold for new in 2007. Perhaps those nibbles as you call them aren’t so bad. But this coming from someone who always priced to sell. And yes, I respect it’s your guitar and it’s your business what you choose to ask for it. So ignore me

Thanks guys. Including 2bornot2bop :-).
I think that regardless of price, the market for an "acoustic archtop" is pretty limited :-). Combine that with a guitar market that is slow - certainly compared to covid times - and people are looking for "a deal". And that is fair, and I think I've priced this guitar as "a deal" for someone that is looking for a high end archtop guitar and doesn't want to spend Monteleone or Campellone or XYZ archtop for $5 or $10k. This is a hand carved guitar that looks, plays and sounds great.
If someone would like to preview in person, I'm on Long Island (NY). Glad to have you over.
I appreciate the feedback!Last edited by steve_arino; 08-26-2025 at 07:07 PM.

Thanks for looking!

Music Zoo advertised this guitar as being in "very good" condition when you purchased it, noting some imperfections (dings, scuffs). Have you repaired these imperfections to make its condition "excellent"? Or did Music Zoo make a mistake (it happens)?

I'm local to you - any chance this is still available? will email as well.

I had a blonde version of this guitar, and I can say it was absolutely of the highest quality, and is here at a bargain price. I know nothing of the seller.
They had more time spent on the top than the 910CE version, which I have now - with a cutaway and a floating pickup.
I’m sure anyone looking for a high-quality pure acoustic archtop need look no further.

Sold. Thank you folks for asking!
