2013 Memphis ES175 59 Vintage Original Spec. You probably all know this model. I played quite a number of them when hunting for one in the U.S. including in the factory.
I found the necks quite variable. This one measures:
43.5mm at the nut, 53mm at the 12th. Depth is 22.5 at the 1st fret, 26.4 at the 9th.
Weight is a notably light 6.02lbs.
It’s completely stock with a single Memphis Historic Spec “PAF” humbucker, even with the sticker.
Action is currently low with, D’Addario Chromes 12-52. Truss rod fully functional, neck angle is good with plenty of adjustment available on the stock rosewood bridge.
Original Gibson case is in good condition, but not pristine externally. I hope you can see that the guitar has been well cared for, no dings, never gigged, smoke free life.
COA included.

Folks, I cannot countenance shipping this guitar. I’m in central Scotland and will only sell within the U.K. I’m willing to travel within reason to meet up with a buyer. Let’s keep its little headstock safely attached. This was my dream guitar since discovering Pat Metheny in the 80s and I’m loathe to let it go. However, having made a number of archtops now, I have a solid spruce/maple 16” that does everything I need from such a spec. Sale of this 175 will finance yet more timber purchases.
Here’s a photo of the usurper for those of you that don’t follow the builder’s bench.
Can someone help me identify this song?
