This is my 2023 CP Thornton Classic tele II. What an amazing guitar!! Hate to let it go, but I am getting older and I have to start thinning the herd. Pretty much in the same condition as when I bought it new. Home use only. Never been out on a gig. I wanted a tele I could use jazz and blues. This fit the bill perfectly. Great jazz tone on this baby. I really love this pickup!!! Action is low and it plays like butter. No fret wear, no cracks, repairs or hidden issues. Serial number is 730
Here are the basic spec’s received from the builder(picture of the spec sheet below).
Model- Tele Classic !!
Body- Old Growth Air Dried Pine
Neck- Torrefied Rock Maple with rosewood fingerboard
Pickguard- Brown tortoise
Pickups-Harmonic design z-90 neck, super 90 bridge
Bridge- Gotoh with compensated saddles
Tuners-Gotoh staggard
Gig Bag- Access
The guitar is dated 9/9/2023 and with the upgrades it was $3800. Nicely broken-in feel. weight is just over 6 pounds (6 lbs 3 oz). Can’t say enough about the quality of the build. This is a guitar that I haven’t really considered selling and no doubt it will be missed. The new owner will be getting a killer guitar!
Letting it go for $2800 shipped plus any payment fee’s.

Terrified rock maple? What was it scared of, being made into a guitar neck? I would be too!
Actually, I think that reads "torrified," I don't know what that is, but probably preferable to terrified.

Chuck Thornton is a master builder. Period. I have several and no complaints at all. Plus he's a very serious builder and a nice guy.
