copy and pasted from my fb marketplace listing, please feel free to reach out! I have some iphone video recordings with a trio and also solo if you’d like to hear the guitar! I”m located in Detroit, MI [email protected]
For sale is this beautiful heritage sweet 16, this guitar is amazing, I’ve owned it for 5 years and am only selling so I can afford another very nice guitar. It has a floating heritage #3 pick up, when i got the guitar it only had a volume knob so I had Mike Koontz install a tone knob under the pick guard. This guitar was appointed with split block inlays, binding on the body and neck, and a very unique tailpiece that you can adjust the tension on each individual string for more balance in volume between the strings. This is the same tailpiece Gibson uses on there highest caliber guitars like the citation and the legrand. A vintage orange finish with the gold hardware make this guitar an absolute stunner. This guitar has been played a lot and there is some cosmetic dings and such. But the guitar is in great shape. The binding on the back separated a tiny bit this January, I took it to master builder Gary Zimnicki and he put some adhesive in between the side and back and made sure its not going anywhere. Pictures include the wear but theres nothing structurally wrong with the instrument and it sounds and plays incredible! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or if you want to see the guitar in person I’m usually playing out a couple times a week. Comes with original hardshell case. Asking $4500+shipping will ship in continental U.S

These are really wonderful boxes. I have a Golden Eagle from the 90's that still amazes me. I didn't really you could install a tone wheel/capacitor under the pickguard. I've just been using my amp/EQ pedal for that. GLWTS.

I've actually played this guitar. Donovan was nice enough to let me use it when i showed up without my guitar. He's a great guy and I can vouch for him and this guitar. I loved playing it. I have had 2 L5's both 17". This sounded really, really close to my L5-CE. To me its a 16" L5 via sound. It had a great sound turned all the way up and a great acoustic tone when i rolled the volume down to half. I really liked this guitar. If I had the money, I think I'd get it, Im just strapped at the moment. Sorry for intruding on the thread, just thought Id offer my two cents.
Good Luck with the sale, and thanks for letting me play it!

Yeah the one used is very low profile, I'm going to take a picture and upload it.
