I'm a major Thornton fan and have six of his instruments. He is a focused, perfectionistic builder with creative but well thought out approaches to his models. He also is easily contacted and is responsive to questions.

My first Thornton was the Jazz Elite. I had no criticism. In fact I had him build me a bigger version he calls the Improv, which was at his 10th anniversay as a solo builder.

The Jazz Elite will serve you well.
