    Hi Greg - yes still for sale. I will measure nut with and get back to you, virtually sure it's 1.68 to 1.69 (not a wide nut). Don't have calipers to measure thickness, but it's what I would call a slim C shape. Hope that helps. I am in CT. Feel free to message me for more info.

    Thanks for the reply Chris. That's basically all I needed to know. I'm going to check out a couple guitars locally in the next few days, which will determine if I move forward on yours. Cheers!

    The Barrington's were really good made Japanese guitars made at the Terada factory. They were put together here in the U.S. I think an ex-Kramer guitars employee owned the company. The BGW line all had solid woods too... The model AT-1 was the top of the line archtop from Barrington, designed in collaboration with George Gruhn (only a few made) I can't believe there's one in Reverb and nobody's picked it up yet!

    An equivalent Ibanez archtop (Japanese made) would cost you at least $3,000 today!
