    Hi guys,

The dimensions for my vintage ES-175 T (Thinline) are as follows:

Overall length is 41 1/4 in. (104.8 cm.), 16 in. (40.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in body depth + a bit more for the depth of the bridge (EDIT: It's about 3.2 in. deep including the curvature of the back of the body + bridge)

Has anyone successfully fitted a gig bag to this guitar? I'm looking at a Reunion Blues Continental Voyager for dreadnought (internally 5inches deep) or for the semi hollow (internally 3 inches deep) and wondering if the semi hollow model's depth would be sufficient. Or maybe a Mono bag alternatively.

    Thanks!

Scout for a "ES-335 bag" or "semi hollow bag" and you'll find 'em.

    I just stumbled over another Levy's CM51L, which I use for 16 x 2 - 2.75" guitars.
They're not easy to find but they're as nice as cordura bags ever get -- 1=" of padding in every direction, sherpa-fleece interior and leather trim:

I use a Mono 335 Vertigo M80 bag for my thin 16” archtops (2 1/2”). It fits both the Eastman Jazz Elite 7 string and the Ibanez AF207 perfectly, and I love it. Should be a fine fit for you.

I purchased a 3” deep Reunion Blues Continental Voyager for my Trenier Jazz Special. The guitar is16”w x 2.75”d x 42”l. You should be fine with that bag based on the shallower depth of your 175T.

Beautiful axe! Is the 2.75" including the bridge and any outward curvature of the back of the guitar body? I should have clarified, I just measured my guitar laying on the ground. Bottom of the ground to top of the bridge = a total depth of 3.2 inches. Is that deeper than your Trenier? Thanks

Thanks. The rim depth of the Trenier is 2.75”. The front/back body arching and bridge height is additional, and is easily accommodated by the bag.

Great, thanks so much for the info. I'll grab the 3inch one for sure then!
