Maybe just make certain it does a proper job as an "acoustic amp" too? AFAIK Vox are pretty good at that, at least that's the take-home message concerning their tiny 10W Pathfinder from back when I looked at amps like that for in case I'd want to have one at home.

As a former colleague once explained for an in-house "gig" where I voiced my surprise that my (borrowed) electric violin sounded so good through his Fender bass amp: these need a very broad frequency response, probably much more than a guitar amp really needs. Obvious for the lows, but you need the higher harmonics too if you want a proper restitution of the attack (think slap bass). AFAICT this can be clearly seen in the design of again that Pathfinder: the bass version uses 2 smaller speakers in the same cabinet; AFAIK that pair can function like a much bigger (oval?) woofer but must also have the better highs you'd expect from a smaller speaker.
